BH Cosmetics Wishlist

Counting My Blessings

The last week, it's been an emotional roller coaster. Lola's best friend almost died. While in labor with her precious little girl! They both almost died. The result of a drunk driver hitting them. And it scared the living daylights out of Lola.

This would have to be the week that the BBs have shows. All week. And Lola couldn't get out of the gigs. She was spending all her time at the hospital with Baby C. When she had to go work, I'd stay with Baby C. Her mommy didn't want her to be alone.

This was an experience. I cried the first day. Just to see this precious little baby. She had so many tubes and monitors attached to her. Fighting for her little life. It just shocked me. And it made me sad. I felt helpless. I wanted to make all of her pain go away. I didn't know what to do.

I just can't understand why this innocent baby has to suffer so much. She should be with her mommy. They should be loving each other. But they were both fighting to survive. You can read more about their story at Lola's blog.

All of this made me think. Every night I'd sit there with Baby C. Praying for her. Asking God to take care of her. And heal her. It made me realize how lucky Joe and I are. For one, we have each other to lean on. If anything bad were to happen to us, we have each other. This new mom, she has no husband to lean on. He left.

Secondly, Joe and I have 2 very healthy and happy little girls. There was never any drama or scary issues with my pregnancies. Or our deliveries. Our girls have always been healthy. I got to hold my little girls, immediately after they were born. We spent the first 6 weeks of their lives, together. Inseparable.

This week, I've kissed and hugged my girls more. I've spent more time with them. Enjoyed every tiny detail of their lives. How Eva loves to cuddle before nap time. And how excited she gets to see and experience new things. Emma, she makes my heart melt with her smile. The way she holds on to me, it is priceless.

I'm counting my blessings. Realizing that I'm very lucky and blessed. I have a husband that loves me. And 2 healthy daughters. My life is perfect. Just the way it is. Watching my little girls grow. And having my husband to love. These 3 beautiful souls, are all that matter to me. ♥Anna Marie♥

Date Night Makeup

Joe and I are planning a "Date Night" tomorrow. No kids. Just us. Being a married couple. Sounds like heaven! But I'm a little nervous. Isn't that crazy? I've been dying to spend time alone with Joe. But I'm nervous. Like when we were first dating. :)

I want to dress up for him. Make it a bit special. After all, we're going to a "Fancy Pants" restaurant and show. I picked out one of my favorite outfits. I went to Manders' house this morning and had my hair cut. Feeling pretty good here. And finding this makeup video, it makes everything come together!



I just love the way Kasey did this look. I'm pretty sure I'm going to use different colors. That compliment my skin more. But I like this look. By the way, don't you just love that song? so perfect! ♥Anna Marie♥

More Lovebugs!

I went to Toys R Us with the girls today. And we found these cute candy buckets! OMG! I almost peed my pants with excitement. :)

These are perfect for Halloween and Emma's birthday. At $12.99 each, I bought 12. I know. You don't have to say that I'm crazy! I know I am. I got 2 for the girls. And 10 for Emma's birthday party.

When I got home and Joe saw them, he asked why I didn't buy more. They are super cute. And I think they will add so much to our birthday decorations. But really...he wanted me to buy more? Yes. So he called a friend and had them go pick up whatever was left. Because Toys R Us is over an hour from our house.

See I'm not the only crazy one in the family. It makes me feel a lot better! But I really do think these will be great decorations. I haven't decided what I'm going to use them for. But probably as center pieces with candy or flowers. Maybe a few by the food table with silverware and napkins. So fun! ♥Anna Marie♥

On My Wish List

It hasn't been very long since my last big makeup purchase. But I seen this palette. In real life. Manders has it! What a fun job she has. You know, doing hair and makeup. And she gets all of these fun things ahead of time.

But I really like this palette. And I really want to buy it. I just can't justify it. So I'm going to add it to my wish list. Maybe my wonderful husband, will buy it for me, for our Anniversary. Or even Christmas. It would make me so happy! ♥Anna Marie♥

Teen Mom

I'm going to make a confession here, I'm addicted to Teen Mom! I'm not sure that Joe appreciates the show as much as I do though. It's crazy how much I enjoy watching the lives of these 4 young moms.

I think it just amazes me. I could never imagine being a mom that young. Or with the partners that these girls have chosen. I mean, there are days when I can barely handle being a mom. When I struggle. But Joe, he's an amazing partner. And he picks up where I'm slacking.

I'm not completely sure what it is, but I really do enjoy this show. Tuesdays nights are one of my favorite nights during the week. Just to see if these girls are going to make it. Their beautiful babies are also fun to watch. ♥Anna Marie♥

Naked Palette

I may or may not have bought this beautiful palette this weekend. :) Yes, I'm addicted to Urban Decay. I don't know how it happened. I really don't want to think about it. But this palette, it makes me very happy. These colors are more like the ones I enjoy wearing daily. Beautiful! This was definitely a splurge. But one that will get very good use! ♥Anna Marie♥

Emma's 1st Birthday

I can't believe that Emma is already going to be a year old! Where in the world has the time gone? 2 months from today, my baby is going to be a year old! And I'm completely stressed out! What kind of birthday party are we going to have? Am I going to cook? Where are we going to get the cake. Etc...

Joe reminded me to breathe yesterday. To just stay calm. But how could I? So I called Lola. And we talked. Lola has a way of putting my mind at ease. Maybe it's because she's fabulous! She gave me the idea of a Ladybug...or Lovebug Birthday party. Perfect!

Here are a few ideas that I've found so far. And I'm really excited. Definitely on a mission now. So if you have an ideas, suggestions, stores, blogs, etc. please let me know. I would really appreciate it.

All kinds of fun decorations! The ideas are endless. At least that is what Lola keeps tell me. :)

Now I'm off to go search for more ideas. And decorations, invitations, and so much stuff that we need to buy. But I'm really excited! I just hope, that 2 months is enough time. And I'm someone who doesn't sweat the small stuff. ♥Anna Marie♥

Daddy's Lovebugs

I was at a loss for Halloween costumes this year. It's Emma's 1st Halloween. And I wanted it to be fun and special. But I had no clue what to dress up our little girls as. Joe and I talked about it. But we kept coming up empty handed.

Then we asked Eva. She didn't know what she wanted to be either. We decided that we should probably go shopping. And look online. The minute we started looking online, Eva wanted to be a "Lovebug."

As we looked through the costumes, Eva had the idea that her and Emma could be "Daddy's Lovebugs." So we searched for the cutest costumes. And here is what we found...

This one is for Emma. I think it's too cute for words!This dress is too cute. And we have the perfect tights and shoes to go with it. :)

And Eva's. She is such a big girl already! This costume really shows that. I absolutely love the headband. Again we have tights and shoes that will match perfectly!

This is my costume. Yes, Eva convinced her mommy to dress up like a "Lovebug" too! I plan on wearing leggings with my getup. But I'm actually excited about dressing up too! ;)

These are the costumes that we finally decided on. And today, they came in the mail! We're so excited! Is it crazy, that I'm counting down the days until Halloween now? ♥Anna Marie♥

Peach Cobbler Ice Cream

When in the heck did Ben and Jerry's come out with Peach Cobbler ice cream? Last night, Joe and I were having a bad case of the "sweet tooth monster." So after we got the girls to bed, he went to the store. And he came back with this! OMG! It's amazing. I think this is now my favorite ice cream. No, I'm not lying. What, it's 6:20am, and I'm considering sneaking me a bowl. What do you think? ♥Anna Marie♥

My Snow White

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but Eva LOVES Snow White. We must watch it at least 10 times a week. She dresses up and dances to the music. She just really likes Snow White. And every time she sees an apple, she tells me, "Momma, Snow White's apple."

Last night, her and Joe were watching Snow White. And when this part of the movie came on, she started to sing. After, she told Joe, "Daddy you can be my prince. Until I find another one." It cracked me up! Joe couldn't help but laugh too. Now we'll have a cute little story to tell her boyfriend...in 18 or 20 years. :) ♥Anna Marie♥

Life with Two

Life with 2 little girls is a lot more complicated than I ever could have imagined. But it's so much fun!

Eva makes us laugh constantly. She is always trying to do what Joe and I are doing. My parents recently bought her a little toy vacuum. It actually vacuums! And early in the morning we hear it. When we ask her what she's doing, she tells us, "I'm cleaning. My room is dirty."

And Emma, well my baby girl is just all cuddles. We spend a lot of time together. Because I'm still breastfeeding. I do think Joe gets a little jealous that he can't just take her. Because he's really close to the girls. But he understands that we need to be near.

My favorite time of day, is early in the morning. Joe goes to work pretty early. But he'll go get Emma and Eva will make her way to our bed. And we all just snuggle and cuddle. It's so much fun. And I'm enjoying every second of it! Because I know, before I know it, they'll be all grown up.

But that's life. And you have to cherish every moment you have. I know I do. I like watching Eva accessorise her little outfits. I'm not going to lie. There are days we leave the house when she has on a tiara, plastic Snow White shoes, and her Tinkerbell purse. The girl has some style! And Emma, I just love smelling her. There is just something so yummy about a baby. That's life. A little crazy. But full of love. ♥Anna Marie♥

Barry M Raspberry

I don't know where I first saw this color, but I fell in love! How could you not? It's just a pretty berry color. But here in the great USA, Barry M isn't sold. And shipping is so expensive. So until I can justify the shipping, I'm going to continue to dream about this color. It's just the perfect color! ♥Anna Marie♥

Cute Makeup Brushes

I think this is the cutest set of makeup brushes ever! I've been eyeing them for a while. And at $40 for 15 brushes and that cute case, I think it's a good deal. That case reminds me of a clutch. I think it's amazing!

I've heard from my friends that this is a good set. I'm no expert on makeup, so I'll believe them. I really think I'm going to splurge and order a set. My excuse can be, they make for easy traveling. :) ♥Anna Marie♥

Winterberry Heaven

Not to long ago we spent some serious time with Lola. And she looked AMAZING! Her eye makeup was incredible! So I asked her what she was wearing. Because the colors were really gorgeous.

Lola told me that she's been wearing colors from the Winterberry Palette. It's $22. I'm honestly ordering one today. I think these colors go well with my eye and hair color.



I'm really starting to love the makeup and products from Coastal Scents. There are some nice items, for good prices. Is there anything that you like from there? Or that you would recommend. ♥Anna Marie♥

Peppermint Patties

Recently, I've been in love with Peppermint Patties. I've been eating them like crazy! I finished 2 bags in 1 week. This is getting out of control! I just can't get enough of them. And I don't know why.

It scared me so much, I took a pregnancy test. Nope, we're not expecting. But I have this insane craving, for peppermint patties. There's something about them. The coolness from the mint, and the smoothness of the chocolate. So yummy! ♥Anna Marie♥

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

I forgot how fun Children's Books are. Really I did. Until I had my girls. They remind me of all these fun things from my childhood. Like The Very Hungry Caterpillar. One of my favorites! I remember reading this with my cousins. We were 5 or 6 years old. And would sit under the big trees at my parents house. :)

Love this book! It makes me smile. Do you remember all the things the caterpillar ate? So much fun!

These yummy cupcakes make me smile too! One day, I want to have a birthday party for one of my kids. In this theme. Wouldn't that be fun?

We've always read to Eva. But recently, Joe and I are digging through our old toys and books. It's so fun to share these things with our kids. To play with them. And to watch them enjoy the same things that we loved. ♥Anna Marie♥

My Splurge!

Is it crazy that I just splurged and bought me this "Book of Shadows?" I couldn't resist. I've always wanted to buy one of Urban Decay's "Book of Shadows." Well, I finally "bit the bullet" and bought one. And I'm very impressed. These shadows are changing my life!

I don't want to sound all dramatic. But this purchase is making my life much easier. Because with 2 kids, it's hard to get ready in the morning. Some days, I'm lucky to have time to brush my teeth. I know, it's nuts!

But Urban Decay eye shadows are amazing! They blend like a dream. And I'm honestly in love. I wish that there were more matte shades. Because some of these have too much sparkle for me. But I'm learning how to work with them. Honestly, this was a great buy! ♥Anna Marie♥
